Designing a website from scratch is intimidating for most businesses because there are so many unknowns. It makes sense that mapping out what you do known is one of the first steps. If you have been in business for a while you would start by collecting all of your brochures, newsletters, and marketing materials. Then you would decide what you wanted to go into your website, prioritizing the most important messages and pictures for your home page. For most companies this is what we recommend. It is usually better to design a website to showcase the content and marketing materials you have, instead of designing a website and then trying to fill up the pages with content. Adding pages to expand your website at a later date is easily done.
